How Peak Brain's clinical advisory board works

Peak Brain’s advisory board is thirteen physicians practising across India. Their role is twofold. They advise on panel design — which markers earn their place, and which are measured frequently without changing what anyone does. And they review the clinical content Peak Brain publishes within their own speciality, so that an interpretation on this site carries a named clinician behind it rather than an unattributed brand voice.

Review is assigned by speciality, not distributed evenly: a cardiologist signs off on lipid and particle-count interpretations, a pathologist on haematology and laboratory method, a gastroenterologist on nutrient absorption. Every reference page states who is assigned to review it and whether that review has happened. Pages awaiting sign-off say so explicitly rather than implying a review that has not taken place.

Advisory board membership is distinct from clinical care. The physician who reads your panel and takes your results call is a licensed doctor registered to practise in India, and you will know their name before the call. Board members advise on the programme; they are not necessarily the clinician assigned to any individual patient.

What this means for what you read here

Peak Brain publishes reference material on individual biomarkers, and the value of that material depends entirely on who stands behind it. Health content without named clinical attribution is common, cheap to produce and impossible to evaluate. Naming the reviewer, their degrees, their training and their speciality is what makes an interpretation checkable — you can see whether the person signing off on a cardiovascular claim is a cardiologist.
